The tread design boosts the dry, wet and winter weather traction and the sawtooth grooves and rib edges find good grip in such weather. The circumferential grooves manage to actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The better hydroplaning prevention and firm year round road grip ensure a secure driving experience.The wider center rib keeps the tire’s road contact at all times. The improved road contact allows an effortless control over the tire, guaranteeing a safer drive. The upgraded contact with the road surface enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the towing vehicle’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The wide center rib, in this manner, ensures the tire’s easy controllability in all conditions.The D901 offers a long lasting tread life. The wide center rib’s constant road contact boosts the tread life and the tire’s usability by managing to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated.
