eBay TAKAMINE LIMITED EDITION CUSTOM MADE CP5 OAD ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC GUITAR OVANKOL You are bidding on TAKAMINE LIMITED EDITION CUSTOM MADE CP5 OAD (CP5DCO ADI) ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC GUITAR. This is one of the first of a Custom Shop Limited run guitar that suffered a very minor bit of a crack at the top of the neck just below the nut in original transit. It was mostly just on one side bit there was a very slight sign of it on the other. We had it professionally repaired by a local luthier who did a fantastic job. You can hardly even tell without seeing it in just the right light and the repair is smooth and beautiful. Otherwise it’s brand new with the case! The CP5 OAD is the correct model. On the first run they screwed up the label inside the guitar as this one says CP5DCO ADI. The middle C would denote a cutaway but this is a full body guitar. On the Actual part # CP5 OAD , the C means Custom as this is a limited run guitar. The P5 is the line in their range so Professional range level 5. They go from P1 to P7 in their professional range. The O is for Ovangkol back and sides. The A is for Adirondak Spruce top. And last the D is for Dreadnought shape. This elegant dreadnought pairs the grand sound of its Adirondack spruce top with beautiful and toneful ovangkol. The mix is a very dynamic guitar with sweeter, glossier midrange. The guitar is very classic in its appointments featuring small diamonds in its ebony fingerboard and ivory colored binding. It features a slender, comfortable neck and Takamine’s legendary CT4 DX electronics, allowing blending of the guitar’s contact mic and the Palathetic piezo system. You can find an audio demo on the Mfrs website. Retail on this guitar is $4199 which is wierd because even takamine sells them for $2699 with case new.
