Here is a Schneider Kreuznach Xenar 150mm f5.6 lens It comes in the latest, black, Copal #0 shutter It can be used on 4×5″ large format cameras, as well as many medium format, bellows cameras. It’s size and weight make it the perfect take-anywhere lens. As described in photo #2, Schneider designed the Xenar lenses to be smaller and lighter by decreasing the size of the image circle. The familair Schneider Symmar lenses have an angle of coverage of 70 degrees, while the Xenar series lenses have a 60 degree angle of coverage. This allows for a significant reduction is size and weight, while retaining the same high picture quality. This makes the Xenar lenses perfect for any situation where size and weight are important, and a big image circle isn’t — such as backpacking, nature photography, close-up work, etc. And on most 4×5 field cameras, this lens & shutter are so small, they can be left on the camera when it is folded up. Talk about convenient!!! The 150mm is a “normal” focal length with 4×5″ film, and a short telephoto with medium format cameras. It has all the standard features of the Copal #0 shutter, but adds shutter speeds AND f-stops on BOTH the top and the bottom of the shutter — for easier control!!!
