Kistler 5124A1 Piezotron Coupler/Amplifier – 12 Channel IEPE with Test Data Product Description The Model 5124A1 Twelve-Channel Coupler provides power and signal processing to twelve IEPE low impedance voltage mode sensors from Kistler, Endevco, and others. Integral Electronics Piezoelectric (IEPE) sensors have integrated electronic signal conditioners that provide a low impedance output. The 5124A1 coupler operates on AC line power to furnish constant current DC to the impedance converters contained within the sensor. It provides constant current excitation for piezoelectric and voltage mode piezoelectric sensors. Each channel includes an adjustable gain amplifier which can be varied over three internally selectable ranges; optional plug-in filters; an adjustable current regulator and de-coupling network that removes the DC bias while passing the dynamic signal to the output. Any channel may be tested at any time by depressing the appropriate channel test pushbutton.
