Cast Iron Mechanical Boxing Dog Used This is a very interesting cast iron toy which depicts a dog standing on its hind legs and wearing boxing gloves is punching a boxing bag. The dog punches into the bag when you press a lever located on the base as shown in the photos. The dog is painted with great attention to detail in a light brown or sandy color with white and dark brown accents. The base is a bright yellow with a green platform and the punching bag is bright red. No Maker’s Mark could be found on this cast iron piece and the origin and date of manufacture are unknown. This Mechanical Boxing Dog measures 4¼” Long by 3” Wide and stands 7¼” High. This piece is a perfect addition to any cast iron toy collection and it will surely become a conversation starter.
