Interchangeable finders, focusing screens, motor drives, and lenses. This camera is in CHROME finish. Good working order. This nice Topcon Super D chrome body camera is in Ex++/Mint-or 9 of 10 cosmetic condition. No dings or dents. Few small marks on the bottom plate. Overall nice clean condition. Comes with instructions, Topcon camera & lens brochure, Topcon accessory shoe(boxed), and a BONUS Topcon folding waist level viewfinder w/case. Topcon RE. Auto-Topcor 5.8cm f/1.4 normal lens. Serial # 11215904. Made in Japan by Tokyo Kogaku. Fast f/1.4 normal lens. Nice silver finish. Lens in in Ex+/Ex++ or 9 of 10 cosmetic condition. F/stop range from f/1.4 to f/16. It was introduced in 1973 and is the successor to the Topcon Super D. Aside from the Super DM inscription, the obvious visual difference is that the prism housing extends further forward to accommodate a Judas window allowing viewfinder display of the set lens aperture. Serial numbers have the prefix 72. It uses an interchangeable lens system based on the Exakta lens mount. The most common lens with this camera is the RE GN M 50mm f/1.8 or f/1.4 Topcor. The focal plane shutter has speeds from 1s to 1/1000 plus B. The shutter release button has a standard cable release screw and surround by a lock to prevent accidental exposures. Flash sync is at 1/60 a sec. It features an metering system using a CdS photo cell. The meter has a range of 2 to 16 EV at (ASA 100, f/1.4), settable to film speeds from 25 to 1600 ASA. Focusing is controlled on the lens barrel, with a split image rangefinder on the focusing screen. The focus screens are interchangeable with 5 different types. The film transport uses a single stroke film advance lever. A motor drive option is available.
