There are no chips or scratches in the dial or the acrylic crystal. There is a very very small hairline in-between the 1 and 2 spanning from the center (at the movement hands) all the way to the outer edge. There is corrosion along the minutes hand only. The case is a Illinois Watch Case Co. Elgin National Watch Co, 10K gold filled. The serial numbers for the case back, and body match. There is etching inside the case back “4523R, 6520R, 7287R, 8061R, 9186R, 9584R, 10468R, 11136R, 591R, 3400R, 5-374, 10-3169 D, R5396 R, 2-25-71, x22936M, XIM, R1814, 3-27-72 R”. Each comma represents a new line in which the engraving starts. The case is worn, but has 95% plate left. The movement is fully functional and holds time.
