A remarkable topographical work of London printed for Richard Phillips. Comprising the history of the city, a general description, police and manners, antiquities, architecture, and more. A scarce volume. Bound without all plates and maps. CONDITION Rebound in full buckram with the original label laid in. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Inscribed by a previous owner to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are slightly tone aged, as usual, otherwise clean throughout with the occasional odd spot. Lacking all plates and folding maps.
